The Varsity Boys ran 3.1 miles yesterday in Baird for their District Cross Country Meet. They ran against a total of 24 other runners accumulating 74 points which gave them 4th place overall in team standings. The results are:

 Kevin Harp 9th with a time of 20:30.5
 Ross Compton 11th with a time of 20:34.2
 Casey Waits 17th with a time of 22:15
 Astin Fenner 18th with a time of 22:29.5
 Kyle Compton 24th with a time of 37:25.4

All of the boys did an outstanding job. Special Kudos goes to Kyle Compton for running injured –he showed the true meaning of a team member overcoming his pain for the team.

The Middle School Boys ran 2 miles yesterday in Baird for their District Cross Country Meet. They ran against a total of 24 other runners accumulating 42 points which put them in 2nd place overall as a team. The results are:

 Roland Rud 4th with a time of 12:12
 Seth Phillips 7th with a time of 12:38
 Colin Waits 8th with a time of 12:46
 Anthony Sites 15th with a time of 13:34
 Keagan Fernandez 17th with a time of 13:53
 Nathan Chrismer 18th with a time of 14:03
 Mike Prather 19th with a time of 15:00

All the boys ran together in the 8th grade division. Can’t wait to see how good they do next year!
