The 8th grade did an outstanding job holding Clyde 0 to 0 in the first half. Then both teams came out rejuvenated from half time and quickly scored with both teams successfully completing touchdowns with 2 point conversions tieing the score 8 - 8. Then in the fourth quarter after numerous turnovers Clyde was able to get one more touchdown and two point conversion. Hawley was on its way back down the field when time expired leaving the score Hawley 8 Clyde 16. Scoring for Hawley was Houston Schoonmaker on a hand off from quarterback, Logan Thompson. The two point conversion was made by a pass from Thompson to Seth Phillips.

Even though Hawley lost, they played extremely tough and looked good.
