2009-2010 HHS ART SUPPLIES
ART I

· Spiral sketchbook – MUST be a spiral type. Hobby Lobby, Michaels, Target, HEB have spiral bound sketchbooks. This is important because the students will receive a beginning and ending grade on their drawings during the school year.
· 10 - #2 pencils
· 1-sharp scissors
· 1-black sharpie marker
· 1-big perm. black marker
· 1-pink pearl eraser
· 1-hand held mirror
· 1- box of GALLON size zip loc bags
· 1- roll masking tape
· 1- skein of yarn (any color choice)
· 2-large sheets of poster board to make required portfolio for art storage
· Black matte board as needed for art shows (minimum of 2 sheets)
· Additional supplies may be needed through out the school year according to student project choices



Students should write their name on all supplies with the black sharpie before they bring it to school. The sketchbook should have the student’s name on the front and back covers to prevent theft. These supplies will be the property of the student and can be taken home at the end of the school year. All supplies must be purchased and taken to the art room during the first week of school. Arrangements can be made if this is not possible.
