Dear Elementary G T Parents/Guardians,
I am so, so excited about joining the Elementary staff! I hope that I will be able to fulfill the needs of the elementary GT students. I will be on the elementary campus on M, W, and F during the 2007-2008 school year in the morning. The GT students will meet me in the elementary Library for 30 minutes of academic enrichment. This will give them time to work together as a group as required by Texas law. I have some challenging project ideas, community service projects, and several intriguing fieldtrips in the works I truly want to be an asset to the GT students!
Parents, I communicate best via email. I am required to take roll every period during my high school classes and I always check my email at the same time. I make sure to reply to all emails before I leave each day. Please, email me at any time about any questions or concerns that you may have about your GT student and/or GT curriculum. I understand that there may be times that GT students may not be able to attend the curriculum enrichment time due to TAKS, special programs, or fieldtrips My conference period is 9:55 – 10:40. My phone numbers are 537-2429 (H) and 280-5973 (C). Again, I can not verbalize my excitement about being the GT Facilitator. I will go above and beyond to make the GT program of Hawley ISD outstanding. God truly blessed me when He allowed me to teach, nurture, and shape the little Bearcats!
